Can I drink the water?
tāep is designed to elevate your daily bathroom rituals — from brushing your teeth and cleansing your face to washing your hands. It delivers noticeably softer, cleaner water for everything your skin touches.
Which contaminants does it filter?
tāep reduces chlorine, heavy metals (like lead and copper), and microplastics — all of which can irritate sensitive skin and damage the natural moisture barrier. Four layers each do one job: PP cotton for sediment and rust, coconut carbon for chlorine, copper-zinc granulate for heavy metals, and a vitamin C layer — together they reduce 60+ contaminants.
What makes it better than other faucet filters?
It is the only skin filter backed by an accredited Swiss laboratory — measured across the full service life of the cartridge, not on a fresh one on day one: 92.8% chlorine, 90% heavy metals, 94.3% microplastics.
What results should I expect?

The filter adds nothing to your skin — it reduces what can irritate it in the water: chlorine, heavy metals and microplastics. It is made for daily use, including on sensitive, dry or reactive skin. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, speak to your dermatologist.
How often do I replace it?
The cartridge is changed about once a month, depending on your water and how much you use it. The housing stays on your tap. A refill plan sends the next one before you run out.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You can buy the tāep SkinWater Filter once and order refills whenever you need them. If you prefer not to think about it, the Smart Refill Plan sends you 3 new filters every 3 months at a lower price — you can pause, change or cancel it at any time.
What if it does not work for me?
You have 60 days to try tāep at home. If it is not for you, send it back and we refund you. The filter housing itself comes with our lifetime guarantee — only the cartridges are consumables.
