And if you’re curious about what’s really in your tap water before and after filtration? We’ll show you how to test it at home in minutes.
Step 1: Replace Your Faucet Filter Refill
The process is tool-free and takes less than a minute:
- Hold the filter body with one hand
- Twist the bottom cap counterclockwise to remove it
- Pull out the used refill and dispose of it responsibly
- Insert a new refill (flat-side first)
- Screw the cap back on until secure
✅ Done. Fresh water, better skin, stronger hair you’re ready to flow.

Step 2: Test Your Tap Water Quality
Want to see what your tāep filter is blocking? A quick home test can reveal chlorine, hardness, and metals in minutes.
You’ll need:
-
A water test kit (available online or at most hardware stores)
-
A clean glass of tap water
-
Optional: stopwatch or phone timer
How to test:
- Dip a test strip into unfiltered tap water for 2–5 seconds
- Compare the strip’s color to the kit’s chart (watch for hardness, chlorine, heavy metals)
- Repeat with water from your tāep faucet filter
What you’ll notice:
- Lower chlorine levels
- Softer water with reduced hardness
-
Clearer, fresher taste and feel
-
Peace of mind knowing what’s no longer hitting your skin
